Throughout the year, RIPA hosts over 300 free public events including tours, movie nights, waterfront activities, our annual Earth Day and Harvest Festivals and more. These family-friendly drop-in events play an integral role in helping Park visitors explore the Island’s varied points of interest. We strive to host inclusive, accessible events that enable all individuals to engage fully. Community Field Day

April 10 @ 11:00 am - 2:00 pm

Kick off the spring sports season with the Randall’s Island Park Alliance at our 80’s Fields Community Field Day! We’re celebrating the reopening of our newly restored athletic fields and inviting families and kids to come play, explore, and enjoy a fun-filled day outdoors during Spring Recess. 

This free, family-friendly event will feature sports clinics, games, music, food, and plenty of ways to get active. Enjoy the new fields, connect with local recreation providers, and spend the day playing and celebrating with your community. 

Randall’s Island Park is a place for youth sports and outdoor fun all year long. Join us to celebrate the 80’s Fields reopening and the start of a fun, active spring season!
