Randall’s Island Events
Throughout the year, RIPA hosts over 200 free public events including tours, movie nights, waterfront activities, our annual Earth Day and Harvest Festivals and more. These family-friendly drop-in events play an integral role in helping Park visitors explore the Island’s varied points of interest. We strive to host inclusive, accessible events that enable all individuals to engage fully. Cooking on the Farm with Chef Angie

Experience the flavors of Randall’s Island Park Alliance’s Urban Farm through this free, interactive cooking demonstration! Join beloved Chef Angie in the Urban Farm Kitchen for an afternoon of farm-to-table fun.
After learning about the cultural significance of the recipe and its freshly harvested ingredients, participants will work together to chop, crush, and stir the fresh ingredients, and enjoy a small plate of the finished dish.
Guests will leave with new knowledge of how to use seasonal produce to cook a healthy and delicious meal!
