Randall’s Island Events

Throughout the year, RIPA hosts over 200 free public events including tours, movie nights, waterfront activities, our annual Earth Day and Harvest Festivals and more. These family-friendly drop-in events play an integral role in helping Park visitors explore the Island’s varied points of interest. We strive to host inclusive, accessible events that enable all individuals to engage fully. Dance in the Park at the Waterfront Festival

Event Series Event Series: Dance in the Park with Sweet Water Dance & Yoga!

Are you looking for a free, outdoor dance series this summer? Grab your water bottle and comfortable clothes and head to Randall’s Island for Bachata and Salsa in the Park! Motivated by the breeze, city and nature views, and an engaging instructor, participants will learn new moves and gain confidence with old ones.

We’re grateful to partner with Sweet Water Dance & Yoga to bring fabulous instructors to the park. Bring a friend or come on your own!

This session will take places during our 2025 Waterfront Festival and will feature an array of dance styles! 

Location: East River Picnic Area (across from Field 72)
