Flotsam River Circus

Come see Flotsam River Circus on Randall’s Island on Saturday, Sept. 13th, and Sunday Sep. 14!
Flotsam is a troupe of musicians, circus artists, and puppeteers traveling on a handmade raft, giving free performances in waterfront towns along the way.
They’ll be performing at the SW side of the Island, right by the Ward’s Island Pedestrian Bridge. Just look for the most unusual ‘boat’ on the water — that’s us!
Our show is family-friendly but intended for audiences of all ages. The performance starts at 6:00 pm and will be finished before 7:30. Bring a blanket or lawn chair, and come early for a good spot!
The show is free to attend, but we keep this crazy project afloat through donations. You can learn more on their website!
Parking in the area is limited, so if possible, please carpool, bus, bike, kayak, or teleport.
If you are considering arriving by boat, please note that our show is much better viewed from shore — and we ask that no boats position themselves behind the performance.
