Randall’s Island Events
Throughout the year, RIPA hosts over 300 free public events including tours, movie nights, waterfront activities, our annual Earth Day and Harvest Festivals and more. These family-friendly drop-in events play an integral role in helping Park visitors explore the Island’s varied points of interest. We strive to host inclusive, accessible events that enable all individuals to engage fully. Food Demos on the Urban Farm
July 11 @ 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm
The Urban Farm hosts free food demonstrations to teach the community-at-large how to cook with the seasonal produce they can see growing on the farm. We have 200+ varieties of produce, including many varieties that are culturally relevant to our local communities. In food demonstrations, visitors sample produce, take home recipe cards, and ask the Community Food Educator for kitchen tricks, tips, and advice.
