Throughout the year, RIPA hosts over 300 free public events including tours, movie nights, waterfront activities, our annual Earth Day and Harvest Festivals and more. These family-friendly drop-in events play an integral role in helping Park visitors explore the Island’s varied points of interest. We strive to host inclusive, accessible events that enable all individuals to engage fully. Herbal Medicine Workshop
August 29 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Join us for a journey into the world of herbal medicine amidst the vibrant setting of our Urban Farm! Led by seasoned herbalist Sebastian Bouknight, this hands-on workshop will guide you through plant identification, the history of botanical medicine, harvesting techniques, and a variety of herbal remedies. Don’t miss this opportunity to create your own custom-made tincture, reconnect with nature and empower yourself with the healing power of plants!
