Randall’s Island Events

Throughout the year, RIPA hosts over 200 free public events including tours, movie nights, waterfront activities, our annual Earth Day and Harvest Festivals and more. These family-friendly drop-in events play an integral role in helping Park visitors explore the Island’s varied points of interest. We strive to host inclusive, accessible events that enable all individuals to engage fully. International Coastal Cleanup

The International Coastal Clean Up is an annual event that helps us keep our shoreline free of marine plastics and refuse!

Join members from the community and different partners for our annual coastal cleanup with us and the Ocean Conservancy. With miles of rocky coastline, Randall’s Island Park can always use a hand removing marine plastics and litter that gather between the rocks and in our marshes.
Beginning at Icahn Stadium, volunteers will be sent to various places on the island to collect and record what they have removed from the park.
Last year volunteers collected more than 500 pounds of litter and plastics permanently removing them from our water systems!
