Throughout the year, RIPA hosts over 300 free public events including tours, movie nights, waterfront activities, our annual Earth Day and Harvest Festivals and more. These family-friendly drop-in events play an integral role in helping Park visitors explore the Island’s varied points of interest. We strive to host inclusive, accessible events that enable all individuals to engage fully. Taste of the Farm

Join us for our second annual Taste of the Farm, a family-friendly day of activities and food celebrating the height of the growing season at Randall’s Island Park Alliance’s Urban Farm! Bring the whole family and enjoy interactive farm activities, global tastings and fun, including:
- Chef-led Tastings Featuring Culturally Important Farm Grown Ingredients
- Ginger and Botanical Soda Brewing
- Vegetable Print Making
- Flower Arranging
- Lawn Games
Get your passport stamped while traveling the world of food and sampling dishes inspired by the 200+ varieties of fruits, vegetables, and herbs grown on the farm.
You can also celebrate a big anniversary for our Urban Farm with our $20 for 20 Years celebration! The farm is celebrating its 20 years here at Randall’s Island Park and a donation towards the farm of $20 or more before November 1 will receive a special, limited-edition Urban Farm–themed sticker sheet, illustrated by artist Aly Miller.
