Throughout the year, RIPA hosts over 200 free public events including tours, movie nights, waterfront activities, our annual Earth Day and Harvest Festivals and more. These family-friendly drop-in events play an integral role in helping Park visitors explore the Island’s varied points of interest. We strive to host inclusive, accessible events that enable all individuals to engage fully. Waterfront Festival

Celebrate the height of summer at the annual, free Randall’s Island Waterfront Festival at Randall’s Island Park! Enjoy a fun, family-friendly day along our scenic waterfront with water-themed educational activities, crafts, games, face painting, live performances, and more.
With something happening all day long, there’s plenty to explore, learn, and enjoy for all ages. Join us in celebrating summer, water, and the community that brings us together.
