Randall’s Island Park Alliance Unveils 2024 Programming Report
2024 Program Report Shows Growth Across Randall's Island's Diverse Programming Slate
The Randall’s Island Park Alliance is proud to publish its 2024 Programming Report, which captures the milestones of this past year in the bevy of areas programming covers on Randall’s Island.
The annual Programming Report incorporates participation and progress in environmental education, health and wellness, arts and culture, festivals, celebrations, as well as community and corporate volunteering on Randall’s Island, and care for destinations at the park.
“We are so grateful for the increased participation and deepening of partnerships in our events here on Randall’s Island” said Chris Girgenti, RIPA’s Director of Environmental Programs. “Every year our goal is to provide our local community with a wide variety of vibrant recreational and educational experiences and with such an active 2024, we are looking forward to continuing and elevating these programs in 2025 and beyond.”
RIPA saw a year-over-year increase across the Island with a 21% bump in festival partners and activities, 16 new corporate volunteer partners, nearly 1,000 more volunteers, 49 additional programming partners and approximately 200 more students participating in field trips.
